Monique McDonald

President & Accounting Director

Monique first fell in love with accounting during her high school accounting course. Ever since, Monique forged ahead into an expanding tax and accounting career. Since obtaining her Master’s in Accounting and Financial Management, Monique began considering entrepreneurship. In 2017, Monique walked away from a job she loved to pursue M Squared Accounting on a full-time basis. Because of her more than 10 years in accounting and 12 years in tax preparation, at the time, Monique knew it was a walk of faith and a prompting to pursue her calling. She was called by God to help people find freedom from financial bondage. It is not always an easy conversation, but it is a necessary conversation. M Squared Accounting exists to help solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and small business owners discover their own financial journey and define their own path to success.

Leslie Best

Senior Income Tax Director

Leslie began her tax professional career in 1989 with H&R Block. She further expanded her technical experience when she became the Tax Advisor at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. Since her return to the United States, Leslie has worked as a Legal Assistant and Tax Advisor at Fort Lee Army Base near Petersburg, VA, and as a Tax Advisor and Tax Specialist at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Arlington County, VA. Her nearly 30-year connection with the military, both at home and abroad, has exposed her to various tax situations like Injured Spouse, Foreign Earned Income, and others making her a wealth of knowledge for our clients. As a believer in Jesus Christ, Leslie has devoted her life to serving Him both in and outside the church. Her true ministry has been helping people on their own financial journey. There was a point in time where debt restricted her, and her family’s lives. Sewing her financial seed brought increase when she saw no way out. It was her encounter with God and her relationship with Him that began to turn her situation around.

Sam McDonald

Customer Relations Manager

With more than 20 years of customer service experience, Sam has devoted much of his professional career to the customer experience. He has a spirit to serve that is exemplified whether he is communicating internally or externally in his job role. Sam drives the continuity of the customer experience at M Squared Accounting. He works to ensure a client’s experience is the same throughout the company.

Angela Graham

Executive Assistant

Angela is a proud military spouse. She has proudly served the military community for more than 13 years through non-profit work and community support groups. Her dedication and professionalism earn her respect from those who have had the pleasure to work along side her. Angela is detail oriented, highly organized, and extremely disciplined in what she does and how she serves. Her operational knowledge and expertise have had a profound impact on the operations of M Squared Accounting.

M Squared Accounting is a Christian firm that believes in the birth, crucifixion, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our firm helps each client recognize that God provides all of our needs, and what He has given us is enough. We help our clients recognize that we need to be better stewards of the “enough” He has provided. We help our clients to manage the “enough” so that when He is ready, He can bless you abundantly and know it will not be wasted.
